Mozzarella di Bufala PDO logo

Created in Italy during the 7th century, the Mozzarella Di Bufala Campana PDO is a product of the Italian gastronomy. It is made from the milk of buffaloes brought up for centuries in Campania. Buffaloes had been taken from Asia in order to cultivate the swampy lands and their milk had been gradually used in the preparation of cheese. With its pure white dough, this cheese is the only certified mozzarella PDO since 1996. It is a very soft cheese with a poor in calorie and rich in proteins and calcium spun dough known beyond Italy. It is utilized in diverse and varied dishes and may be tasted either cold or hot. Perfect to garnish pizzas, you can also use its pronounced aroma by tasting it fresh with salt, olive oil, garlic or fresh basil.
